Highlights of
the curriculum at
VIN NEXUS CENTER
A special education program is built on four pillars: adaptive pedagogy, an integrated knowledge and enforcement program, an internationally guaranteed certificate, and a therapeutic intervention that is seamlessly linked to learning—all to unlock each student’s unique potential.
Adaptive Pedagogy
STAGE, NOT AGE
VNC respects the biological age of students in terms of society (Grade), but designs academic content that closely follows each actual capacity (Stage) of each individual. For example, a 15-year-old student at VNC will have access to socially appropriate concepts (Grades) for adolescents, but with access points adapted to the current cognitive area.
SPIKY PROFILES
We don’t use average IQ to limit expectations. VNC focuses on developing “Peaks” to the highest standards and designing technological “scaffolding” to support barrier “Floors”.
Bridging knowledge
and enforcement capacity
At Vin Nexus Center, we do not force parents and students to choose between “learning culture” or “learning life skills”. An individual is only truly autonomous when he possesses both his intellect and the capacity to act — and that’s why we combine Cambridge with ASDAN in a single model: Knowing × Doing.
Cambridge — the structure of thinking, logic, and language.
ASDAN — execution capacity and practical demonstration.
The CAMBRIDGE Programme: The “Knowing”
The Cambridge program serves as the “Thinking Structure”. Rather than just teaching knowledge, we use the Cambridge curriculum framework, integrated with other scientifically proven and internationally recognized programs, to develop brain functional areas:
- Depth of thinking (Cognitive rigour): Building a foundation of cognitive competence (Mathematics), Laws of Nature (Science) and Ability to express (Language).
- Learner Position: Special students at VNC are recognized as “Students” who are conquering knowledge, eliminating the prejudice that special children can only access elementary content.
ASDAN Program: The “Doing”
If the Academic Program is the “raw material”, then the Practical Capacity Development Program of VNC is the “finished product”. This program is built on an international curriculum and provides an evidence-based evaluation framework:
- Performance: Students prove they “do it” through real-life projects and products.
- International Guarantees: The ASDAN qualification is directly contrasted with the UK National Qualifications Framework (RQF), creating a valuable professional portfolio against the global labour market.
When knowledge becomes an independent tool
VNC creates a continuous flow between “Understanding the principle” and “Actual operation”.
Typical examples of transformation:
STEP 1 - KNOW
During Science class, students learn about "Electrical Systems and Current Safety". This is the brain step that manipulates the logical concepts of safety laws.
STEP 2 – DO
Students directly practice in the simulated apartment, check electrical appliances, operate household appliances according to the safety procedures they have learned.
RESULTS - SELF-RELIANCE
Electrical intellectuals are packaged as the ability to "operate independently". You are no longer just a card, but have the ability to be safe at home alone — an important step towards affirming the highest dignity.
International Certificate:
Labor Value Identification
In traditional special education, children are often stuck at one of two extremes: only learning academics (good at math but not knowing how to use money) or only learning life skills (knowing how to do housework but not having a certified degree).
The Cambridge x ASDAN bridge at VNC removes both of these barriers.
This is a roadmap to ensure students with special educational needs
Both knowledgeable
Elevate your intellect with a Cambridge framework that is tailored to personal capacity.
Skilled
Ensure execution capacity with real-world projects and products through the ASDAN framework.
Recognized independent status
The ASDAN certificate complies with the UK National Qualifications Framework (RQF), which is the basis for acceptance by vocational colleges and partner businesses.
Knowledge is power—but enforcement is the key to freedom. VNC students do not graduate with a general comment, but graduate with a Portfolio certified by ASDAN.
Embedded Clinical Model
Therapeutic interventions are part of the learning experience, not ancillary services.
At VNC, clinical therapy services for students with special needs such as ABA Applied Behavioral Therapy are professionally supervised by BCBA – BACB-certified behavior analysts, Speech Therapy (SLT), or Occupational Therapy (OT) that are directly integrated into the classroom environment and daily activities. Instead of separating “class hours” and “therapy hours,” we design a seamless intervention system where each therapeutic goal is reinforced through a hands-on learning experience.
PERSONALIZATION BY MULTI-POINT COMPETENCY PROFILES (SPIKY PROFILES)
Each student has a distinct competency structure, with different “peaks” of competencies and “areas of need”. VNC designs integrated strategies to both promote strengths and intervene targetedly, ensuring that each student is developed according to his or her cognitive structure.
INDIVIDUALIZED EDUCATION PLANNING SYSTEM (IEP)
Each student has an IEP that integrates academic, therapeutic, and adaptive competencies. The plan is developed by a multidisciplinary team and continuously adjusts based on progressive data, ensuring accuracy, flexibility, and long-term effectiveness.
Therapy is most effective when it takes
place in a real-life and learning context
Where students can practice, consolidate and transform knowledge into
sustainable competencies. Let Vin Nexus Center accompany your
family on that journey.
